Data Protection & GDPR
Ten24 is committed to responsible data handling and full compliance with UK GDPR and data protection legislation. The SP-6M dataset has been created with privacy, consent, and long-term commercial use in mind.
Direct, Consent-Based Capture
All data in the SP-6M dataset is captured directly by Ten24 from real participants in controlled studio sessions. Every participant takes part voluntarily, is fully informed, and provides explicit consent for their scan data to be used in commercial datasets, including for games, film, advertising, and AI research.
No data is scraped, inferred, or sourced from third-party websites, public imagery, or external datasets.
Anonymisation & Privacy
Participant identities are not shared with clients. Personal identifying information is removed from the dataset before licensing, and data is supplied in anonymised form.
Clear Data Ownership & Control
Ten24 acts as the data controller for all participant data used to create the dataset. Licensing is handled through bespoke commercial agreements that clearly define permitted uses and restrictions.
The dataset is not provided via automated downloads or open platforms, ensuring controlled access and accountability.
Lawful & Responsible Use
The SP-6M dataset is created and managed to support legitimate production and research use cases. The data is explicitly not licensed for sexually explicit content or government surveillance, and governance processes are in place to ensure responsible use over time.
