Dataset Licence

The SP-6M dataset is licensed on a controlled, case-by-case basis to ensure it is used responsibly and in line with its intended purpose.
 

We only license the dataset to organisations that demonstrate a clear, ethical use case and agree to operate within defined, permitted uses. This includes applications across games, film, animation, research, and AI development where the data is used in a lawful, respectful, and professional manner.
 

The dataset is not licensed for uses that fall outside these principles, including applications that would be exploitative, deceptive, or incompatible with the consent provided by participants. Certain categories of use are explicitly excluded and are addressed within the licence terms.
 

Licensing is handled through direct engagement to ensure the dataset, the intended use, and the licence terms are appropriately aligned. This allows us to provide clarity, answer questions, and ensure that both parties are comfortable with how the data will be used.
 

All licences clearly define:

• Data handling and security expectations

• Anonymisation and non-identification requirements
